We designed and delivered a state-wide professional learning program for Y Ballarat, focused on building responsive, protective relationships with children. Over two months we travelled across Victoria, facilitating sessions with more than 800 educators. We drew on each team's own experience and used collaborative digital tools so every participant could engage - regardless of confidence or context.
We partnered with City of Port Phillip to deliver tailored professional learning on intentional environment design. Over eight weeks and five sessions, educators engaged in hands-on experiential learning — exploring practical and innovative approaches to designing spaces that genuinely support belonging, inclusion, and engagement for all children.
We delivered an evening webinar for psychologist members of LOAPAC, exploring how ideas from childism can inform neuro-affirming psychology practice. The session sparked rich conversation about AI, generational difference, and how to genuinely honour children's expertise without inadvertently burdening or patronising them.
Over several years we've worked alongside early childhood services to find meaningful, practical ways to bring children's expertise into the everyday life of their service — developing Welcome to Kinder books written by children for children, co-writing service philosophies, establishing children's advisory boards, and supporting teams to embed child-led child safety standards.
